Gatecon Ltd: Is a UK based Event Management company that stages fan-based conventions around the world. Ausgate Technologies assists in the running of these conventions and handles the Audio Visual and Staging aspects, as well as Filming the and producing DVD's of the events. The Gatecon website is also created and hosted by Ausgate Technologies.
The name "Ausgate" was created for Allan's very first web project in 1997, a fan based site dedicated to the Sci-Fi TV series Stargate SG-1, derived from AUStralian starGATE. Back in the infancy of the internet, the AusGate (capital G) site was one of only 4 Stargate based websites and one of the 3 most popular sites of it's kind generating over 1 Million page views per month. 12 Years on the AusGate website is the only remaining out of those top 3 websites and still to this day maintains over 1 Million page views per month.
